Privacy Policy

When you use NextTrip AI, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name and email address when you create an account.
• Device identifier: a unique identifier (Firebase Auth UID) to associate your trips and credits with your account.
• Travel data: destinations, dates, traveler count, and budget preferences you enter to generate trip plans.
• Usage data: app interactions and crash reports to improve app stability (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics).

NextTrip AI uses your approximate or entered destination to generate personalized itineraries and fetch place photos via Google Places API. The app does not access your device's GPS or background location without explicit permission.

Map and place data are provided by Google Maps / Google Places and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

NextTrip AI displays rewarded ads powered by Google AdMob ca-app-pub-8771886841064792. To serve personalized ads, the app may request access to your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

When prompted, you will see the message:
"This identifier will be used to deliver personalized ads to you."

You can deny tracking at any time — the app will continue to function normally with non-personalized ads. You can also change this preference in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Trip plans are generated using third-party AI services (Google Gemini and OpenAI). Your destination, travel dates, and preferences are sent to these services to produce itineraries. No personally identifiable information (name, email) is shared with AI providers.

Your account data, saved trips, feedback, and credit balance are stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Trip itineraries are also cached locally on your device for offline access. You can delete your local data by uninstalling the app.

Credit packs are purchased through Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled entirely by Apple.

NextTrip AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of personalized advertising via iOS Settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
